	Email: john@akinsurancedefense.com Background and Experience After graduation in 1969, I served as law clerk to the Chief Justice of the Alaska Supreme Court, was City Prosecutor for Anchorage, Alaska for a short period of time and served in the Department of Law, State of Alaska as an Assistant Attorney General and Assistant District Attorney. Since 1972 I have specialized in insurance defense matters. The present law firm is the development of the practice I started in 1975.
