	Email: kelly@akinsurancedefense.com Background and Experience After three years as an Assistant Municipal Attorney for the Municipality of Anchorage, my career can be divided into two ten year segments. In the first, I provided contract legal services to other attorneys. These services consisted primarily of legal research, writing motions, writing Supreme Court appeals and standing in for sole practitioners while they were in trial or on vacation. The second half has been at Pletcher, Weinig & Fisher doing insurance defense work for the carriers listed under Representative Clients. At one time or another I have worked on cases addressing each issue listed under Areas of Practice, except Eminent Domain.
